Primary Purpose: To provide and maintain systematic plans for storage of textbooks and workbooks used by the district; to receive and inventory books allotted by the state and fill textbook and workbook orders from the schools, accuracy of receipts and deliveries is crucial.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Fill textbook and workbook orders from building principals and central office personnel.
- Deliver books to proper locations.
- Act as central receiving agent for all incoming textbook and workbook orders.
- Maintain an inventory of textbooks and work books in the warehouse.
- Assist the District Text book Coordinator and Secretary with Texas Education Agency reports and state textbook requisitions.
- Receive, inventory and disseminate annual textbook adoptions.
- Interact and communicate with other district personnel to maintain cooperative relationships.
- Maintain clean and safe warehouse.
- Fulfill other duties that may be assigned by the Textbook Coordinator.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent districtwide travel; occasional prolonged or irregular hours. Occasional lifting of 80 lbs.
