Job Title:  PT Aide - Inspiration Station                                               

Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt

Days: 187 

Primary Purpose: To support inspiration and innovation in ECISD through the STEAM and innovative programs especially related to Inspiration Station.

*Position dependent on funding from the Education Foundation of Odessa.             

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or higher
• Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License

Special Knowledge Skills:

• Strong organizational skills, effective communication skills (listening, verbal and written), time- management skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task 
• Ability to work well with a diverse population 
• Ability to work in partnership with other departments and organizations 
• Skill in developing computer generated documents, graphics and databases 
• Self-motivated with the ability to perform job duties under little supervision 
• Proficient use of personal computer with excellent software skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, file maintenance, and databases 
• Outstanding customer service skills 
• Bilingual (verbal and written) preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Actively provide support to Director in the implementation of Inspiration Station initiative (e.g. Preparing materials, attending events, inventory, etc.) 
• Participate in professional development as required 
• Assist, as needed, with various district-wide activities 
• Perform other related duties as assigned 
• Promote STEAM and innovative programs
