Job Title: Instructional Materials Manager Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
Reports to: Associate Supt for C&I Pay Grade: Admin Pay 1

Supervises: Department of four and occasional part-time employees
Primary Purpose: Effectively supervise and reconcile the state and local instructional materials program. This includes managing and utilizing EMAT, providing reports of funds used, placing orders, distributing instructional materials to campuses and supervising warehouse personnel.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma
- College Degree (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Accounting experience
- Inventory Procedures experience
- Skills in managing staff & training of staff.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate the adoption, ordering, receipt and distribution of all state and locally adopted instructional materials for use in District classrooms as directed by Associate Superintendent
- Train all campus instructional material managers on the procedure to acquire distribute, account for and maintain an adequate supply of instructional materials for each campus
- Maintain all records of activity including textbook distribution to and transfer from all schools within the District
- Complete and reconcile an annual physical inventory of all instructional materials
- Collect money from all campuses for lost and/or damaged instruction materials
- Prepare and remit reports as necessary
- Occasionally lifting 50 pounds
- Perform any and all other job responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with appropriate District personnel to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the state and local adopted instructional materials program.
Working Conditions:

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent districtwide travel; occasional prolonged or irregular hours. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
