Supervises:    

Primary Purpose: To provide support to the public for Emergency and non-emergency related incidents by dispatching calls for service to Police Officers serving the school district.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

·         Receive and record emergency and routine business calls.

·         Process and prioritize incoming calls for police, fire, and EMS assistance.

·         Responsible for answering all incoming phone lines including 9-1-1 calls from schools.

·         Provides support requests for Police and Fire, and EMS personnel.

·         Provides Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) protocols to citizens requiring medical assistance.

·         Ability to understand and proficiently use a Computer Aided Dispatch program.

·         Have knowledge of District emergency plans in the event of crisis.
