Job Title: PT Panther Den Clerk                Wage/Hour Status: Non-exempt

Reports to:                                 Pay Grade: $10.00 per hour                      

Dept./School                              Days: 176 (19 ½ hours per week) 

 

Supervises:

 

Primary Purpose: To perform assigned tasks as a shop assistant or salesperson. To sell products to the students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. Their primary duties include arranging products on the display shelves, processing payments and keeping the den clean and organized.      

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: 

• High School Diploma or GED.

 

Special Knowledge Skills: 

• Excellent customer service skills
• Bilingual preferred
• Highly organized

 

Experience: 

• Technology

 Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Receiving, unpacking, and arranging new shipments from suppliers.
• Assist students, teachers, parents, and community finding the products they are looking for.
• Processing customer payments.
• Make deposits for each day’s sales.
• Cleaning and rearranging the Den.
• Serve as receptionist: Answer phones, assist parents and community at counter.
• Performing periodic price audits and resolving price discrepancies.
• Collaborating with staff and faculty members to keep the Den area clean and always organized.
• Work with Senate sponsor on ordering new product.
