Primary Purpose: Special Ed AI Aides are assigned fulltime in the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf to facilitate spoken and signed communication for auditorily impaired students when in mainstream classes and to assist the teacher in the deaf-education classroom in carrying out the prescribed instructional program for each student. Classroom duties and responsibilities will be assigned by the teacher of the deaf.

Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer. Must be able to lift 50lbs. occasionally with assistance. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
